The trial is the evaluation.
When you install SyncShot, you enter your email, verify a 6-digit code, and the trial starts immediately. No card on file, no auto-charge. For 14 days you have every Pro feature available — every destination type, every workflow, unlimited jobs. That window is your time to decide whether SyncShot is the right tool for the way you work.
If it isn't, simply do not upgrade. Your trial expires, the app moves to read-only, your existing workflows stay on disk, and no card is ever charged. There is no separate “money-back” period after upgrade because the trial already serves that purpose.
Paid subscriptions are non-refundable.
Paddle charges $49/year for Pro (single Mac) and $99/seat/year for Studio (billed per seat) on upgrade and on every renewal. Each charge is final and non-refundable.
Cancelling vs. refunding.
- Cancelling
- Turns off auto-renewal at the end of your current paid year. You keep full Pro access until that date. Do this any time from your account page (which opens Paddle's customer portal). After the paid year ends, the subscription stops billing and the app moves to read-only on its next license check.
- Refunding
- Would mean reversing a paid charge. That isn't offered after the trial — see above. If you intended to cancel but didn't, you can still cancel today, and the renewal won't fire again next year.
The exceptions we honour.
- Billing errors
- If Paddle or our systems charge you incorrectly — duplicate charge, wrong amount, charged after you cancelled — email us and we'll fix it promptly.
- Unauthorized charges
- If your account is used fraudulently and the charge isn't yours, contact us and your card issuer.
- Statutory consumer rights
- Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under your country's consumer-protection law. EU and UK consumers please note: by starting a trial and subsequently choosing to upgrade, you actively initiate the paid service after evaluating it — most jurisdictions treat that as a waiver of the standard 14-day cooling-off right on digital subscriptions.
Paddle's role.
Your subscription is sold through Paddle.com Market Limitedas Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment, issues receipts, and is the entity named on your bank statement. Duplicate invoices and receipt history are available in Paddle's customer portal, reachable from your account page.
