Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using SyncShot, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

2. License grant

Subject to these Terms and to a valid paid license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SyncShot for your own use.

Single activation per license. A license activates SyncShoton one Mac. The activation is bound to that Mac's hardware identifier and is not transferable at will. If you need to move to a different Mac — for example because of hardware failure, theft, or a new purchase — email hello@syncshot.io and we will migrate the activation for you. The license is for a single user; please buy additional licenses for other people or additional Macs.

3. Purchase

To purchase SyncShot, you complete checkout at Paddle's secure hosted page. Your card is charged a one-time fee of $99 (plus any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax collected by Paddle) for a perpetual license. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

After payment is confirmed, we email your download link and license key to the address you provided at checkout — typically within a few minutes. If you do not receive it, check spam and then contact hello@syncshot.io.

4. Paid license — what you get

Once your purchase is complete, you receive:

• A perpetual license — the version of SyncShot you paid for keeps working forever, with no subscription.
• 12 months of free updates from the purchase date.
• After 12 months, the version you own continues to work without interruption. Upgrading to a subsequent major release may require an update fee, announced in advance.
• Support via email at hello@syncshot.io.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of SyncShot, except as expressly allowed in these Terms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, trademarks, or labels.
• Rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or redistribute the software.
• Use the software to infringe anyone's rights or to break the law.
• Attempt to bypass the licensing system, including by sharing your license key.

6. Your files

You retain all rights to the files SyncShot copies. SyncShotdoes not upload, inspect, or store your file contents on our servers — copies happen directly between the source you selected and the destinations you selected. See the Privacy Policy for what we do collect.

7. Third-party destinations

When you copy to a third-party destination — for example, Google Drive — your use of that service is governed by that service's own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, or behaviour of third-party destinations you choose.

8. Updates and changes to the software

We may release updates to fix bugs, add features, or improve security. Some updates are required — for example, security patches or updates needed for compatibility with a new macOS release. We try to avoid breaking how you work, but we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Ownership

SyncShot, the SyncShot name, the app, and all related intellectual property are and remain the exclusive property of MD. AL-AMIN TALUKDAR. These Terms grant you a license to use the software, not any rights of ownership.

10. Warranty disclaimer

SyncShot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Important: SyncShot is a tool for making copies of your files. You are responsible for your own backups. Verify that copies landed on the destinations you care about before deleting the original.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to SyncShot is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of profit.

12. Termination

You may stop using SyncShot at any time. Your license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. On termination, you must stop using the software and delete all copies. Refund eligibility after termination is governed by the Refund Policy.

14. Payment and taxes

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles applicable VAT, GST, and sales tax and is the party of record on your invoice.

15. Export and sanctions

You may not use or export SyncShot in violation of applicable export control or economic sanctions laws. You warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to comprehensive sanctions.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be brought exclusively in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page marks the latest revision. For material changes affecting existing customers, we will send notice by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding SyncShot, and supersede any prior agreements.
